Have anyone tried to walkin to pick up the visa after mailed to them?

Hi everyone!

Does there anyone have tried to walk-in the office in NYC to collect the visa by filling an urgent form? I have sent mine to them in the middle of Nov, and still heard nothing. My flights are tomorrow. I heard that we can go there in person to fill an urgent form to get the visa at the same day. Does happens to anyone before? Could you please share the detailed experience to us? My flights are tomorrow. I have to postpone them and I am thinking if this is doable I may be able to fly in Monday.

I did, but they didn't give me the visa.

anyway, there is no hurt trying, get there by 8am, go straight to the office downstairs, there will be a line. they will give you a number for you to come back by 1pm the same day, they will be a line in the lobby. if you are lucky, you can have your passport with visa, if not, you can still get your passport back, like me.

plus, I don't think they open during the weekend, or Holiday.
