you need to show tuition fee + living cost for 1 year + a bit more(around CAD10000) to strengthen your case.
You dont need to show funds for second year but you do need to show a financial source or state a way by which you'll fund your second year.

If the first year tuition plus living expenses is 20,000 $ then they will calc. by deducting your bank statement with 20 000 and then they will see by how much your account gets reimbursed in a period of 12 months through the income your sponsor earns.
