Have any Lawyers on student visa done a paralegal course (graduate certificate program)?

I'm a Lawyer and Im thinking of doing the Paralegal Course (Graduate Certificate Program). Is it a good course for a lawyer?
What are the chances of my student visa getting accepted or rejected?

Since it is based on Canadian law practices, how does it help your career in your home country? That is what you need to show to get accepted.

Thank you, I've been having similar doubts about it after my consultant suggested this. I'm thinking of a post graduate certificate in International Business or HR. I also have degree in Commerce so i think International Business it could fruitful. My only worry is if I can convince the Visa Officer that this course can help me get into corporate law back in my home country.
