I am working in USA for the past 9 years and recently having some issue with my GC processing. INS is not extending my visa. Looking into the issue, my company decided to send me to Canada and work from their Canadian office for a year and try to return me back after a year. The company applied for the 'Work Permit' and I have got it. But thw temporary Work Permit is only for one year!
I also got the letter from Canadian consulate when they returned my passport back that, with 'Work Permit', once I eneter in Canada, I won't be able apply for PR! My company can extend my stay, but I can't get PR by living in Canada.
Is there any way to get a better Visa which will give me more flexibility like changing my job etc. Is there any way, I can apply for PR being in Canada?
