Has anyone obtained LMIA after January 1st 2015?

Hello there,

Do you or anyone you know has obtained employment through LMIA? If so, could you tell me what are the processing times for LMIA?

I got a LMIA in January 2015. The time it takes to get one depends on the type of job and pay. It might take months or weeks. If it's for a high skill and wage job it can be fast tracked in less than 3 weeks. If it's not, the company has to go through a long process of advertsment and interviewing which can take a few months. The HR people at most companies have a better idea of what category a specific job falls under, so I'd check in with your company's HR.
