Has anyone lost the job or had to go home so far?

As this LMIA drama unfolds at my work, I'm getting more convinced that I'm going to loose my job in May when my WP expires. So, I was wondering if anyone had actually lost the job or had to leave the country because of the expired work permit and inability to extend it? And how does it feel?

Can you afford to enroll in any full-time program in School, that will buy you some time to stay here in canada. Because thats my Plan B. As my WP is coming close for an expiry aswell.
