Hi there, I am filling the IMM 5490 form with my wife. When you exceed the space they give you, to know continue using a computer paper or hand writing paper? Is it the same? Should I use computer?

I used computer, I think it is better , clear, and the letters will be understandable more

did you fill the forms with hand writing or computer? because Adobe doesn't let me save the forms I fill....what did you use?

Hi medellinguy!

It's better to fill them up on the computer. No, you can't save them on the computer filled out, but you just scan all your forms once you're done with them for your records..

so if I send an handwriting form, they will be pissed?

the thing is I do not have a printer at home....so I need to save the forms

They won't be! As long as you have a good handwriting and don't make any mistakes :)
Make sure you use black ink!

are you sure it won't bother??

Hi, guys
I typed by computer, and I was able to save it also. well, you just need another program call "Foxit reader"
you can down load and it's free after you got it then you no need to do anything just open up your adobe and you can save it..

Lets try... ;D

Here you go !!

Well, I'm pretty sure! It is not a requirement anywhere in the guides, and a lot of people actually send the forms to their partners and they fill it up handwritten, then send back to sponsors. So it should be fine.
I would follow LoveThai's advice though! Try to download that program. Wish I knew about it as I had to fll up my forms countless times for small mistakes, as I was realizing after I had already printed it and closed the file :(

If you use the latest version of OS X, the preview application will allow you to save the information. When I was filling out the forms, some parts were not fillable in which case I used the 'annotate' option. All the forms printed out very nicely and I saved the electronic copies for my own reference.

BTW, the latest version of Mac OS is OS X 10.6.4.

We did our by hand because you couldn't save. Also, we used a program where you could save it but it was finnicky so we opted to print.

We did make sure it was printed clearly though, and went over each other's forms in case there were any "What does that say?" etc., so we could be extra clear.
