Dear Concern,

I am a citizen of India and wanted to pursue Master's degree for 2 years(Study Visa) in Canada.

For your information I am suffering from Haemophilia Factor 13 deficiency by birth which is under Haematology department and I need cryoprecipitate or plasma(FFP) for the same every month.

Please let me know the procedure and hospitals together with Province for getting the facilities while I'm in Canada.

Secondly, whether the same will be covered under my insurance or not.If not how much expenses I have to bear in CAD as per the requirement.

Please let me know if you have require any further information.

Regards
Gursimran Singh

The cost of your care will likely have a large factor in whether you get approved for a study permit. Depending on your school you will either have coverage through the province or through a private insurance plan for international students. You will have to be honest about the treatment regimen you need when meeting with the panel physician. I would look up the approximate cost of your care but we have seen students refused because of high cost of medical needs. Sometimes it is the private insurer and sometimes the province that feels that care would be too expensive. The cost of your care will factor in to a PR application if you do get a study permit and want to remain in Canada.
