Hello everyone,
I am currently in India and have my valid I797 with me for H1B extension. I also received COPR while being in India, and plan to soft land in next month. I was thinking if I can do the following:
1. Book a regular visa slot right now by choosing Canadian PR option (which means answering 'No' to the travel question in AIS website)
2. Do soft landing and activate my PR
3. Show up for the planned interview along with my signed COPR ad PR proof.
I wanted to check if anyone has done this, or are there problems with this process. Thanks!
