Hello,

Regarding proving ties to home country,

my girlfriend is applying for a Canadian TRV and as part of that she need to prove strong ties to her home country and that she would be returning back.

She currently works for Amazon, as a software engineer and has been living in the US since that past 5 years and before that in India.

My question is :

For H1b folks in US, isnt the fact that you have to return to US because of your work, enough of a reason to leave Canada and return back to US?
What have other folks in similar situations mentioned/justified for a reason?

Any advice is hugely appreciated,

When you say TRV is it the Visitor Visa? If she is applying from US and resides there, she should prove strong ties to US that she would be returning there but not home country.

Yes, this should be enough for her to prove that she has a valid job and she will be returning to US.

An employment letter, recent paystubs and latest tax returns would be the ideal/strong documents to be included.
