Hey there,

Just wondering if someone who has submitted a Inland Common Law or Spousal Sponsorship Application are able to provide me with a timeline.

I submitted my application on April 10th 2017 and have already received AOR via my email (applicant) and my partner's email (sponsor) on May 5th.

I am just wondering what happens next? I was told they would request medical examination and police certificate as well as schedule a before they issue sponsor approval, approval in approval, and final decision.

Does that mean that they will provide a OWP to me before sponsor approval and if so how long after AOR would that normally be?

Okay thank you, e case is the online web page where I linked my application?

yes your sponsor cam do that link your account to each other and check the process and call every month or two months

No you linked your account to "mycic" and this is only for the principal applicant.

eCAS is a different (old) system that both the sponsor and the PA can access.

Ah I see okay, is it a requirement that we apply for eCAS or is it okay for us to just have to one myCiC account?

You don't apply for ecas. It's just another tool to check the status, but you don't need to apply for that. To check you need name, uci or file number, country of birth and date of birth.
