My husband and I want to immigrate to Canada. We both are Master degree holders. Even though we are going to go for express entry. I was wondering if my uncle (Chachu) can sponsor us as he is a permanent resident and has been living there for more than 15 years.

Can this be done? If yes so what is the procedure going to be like?

He can only sponsor you if all of the below is true:

- He has no spouse / common law partner
- He has no children
- Both of his parents are deceased
- He has no other family members in Canada.
