I graduated with my masters in civil engineering this summer, I have already got work visa till 2016. I see that there is still opening for civil engineers in immigration and I have work experience as a civil engineer for around 2 years in Pakistan. I studied in Ontario and moved to Calgary in Sept and working full time in customer services. I want to apply for immigration ASAP and in the category that would be fastest and most secure. But unfortunately I have no idea where to start from and whom to contact for applying?

Help needed please!

Start by reading through the various immigration programs available here:

I have already read all the ways, but I am pretty confused so I am seeking any guidance.

Hello fellow civilengr

There are 3 categories under which you can get PR. the NOC category, Arranged Employment category and the Phd Stream. In my humble opinion its a bit late for the NOC category, and the second option is the most suitable for you at present.

PM me for any further discussion.

Hello again,

Is it possible if I can get the link where the descriptions of all the occupations are mentioned. I tried but couldn't find it.

Thanks,
Nazia

Do you mean the list of occupations accepted under FSW with no job offer or a different list? If it's the former, this is the list:

Hello civilengr

The job titles and respective descriptions are organized by HRSDC in Canada. Here is the link to their latest NOC 2011.

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=*

Use the "Quick search" module to search your required occupation with description of responsibilities.
