My family submitted a G5 sponsorship application from Canada, and I would like to share the current status and timeline of our case:
As of today, July 25, 2025, the application status still shows “In Process,” with the last update being on August 1, 2024. It has now been nearly a year without any further updates.
If anyone in Turkey has gone through a similar process or has any insights, I would greatly appreciate you sharing your experience.

- Application for Permanent Residence was received on December 10, 2022.
- We received the Application Number (G Number) on August 29, 2023.
- The application was accepted, and the Principal Applicant’s UCI number was issued on July 18, 2024.
- Application processing officially began on August 1, 2024.
