Someone told me there are some scholarships for schooling for new immigrants. Is that true?
If yes , what the program is and how to prepare and qualify it ?

Thank you for your time and your advice in advance.

You will habe to look at each school and each program to look to see if there are grants for new immigrants. You also have access to provincial student loans like OSAP in Ontario. Depending on where you live and what school you are planning on attending you may qualify for some grants/tuition assistance based on your family's income if it is very low.

Thank you for your help. I have 2 things i am still wondering. I hope you can give me some idea about it.
1) if i am working under Open Working Permit before getting my PR card , does that disqualify me for the grants?

2) if i take a course while waiting inland for my PR card, will i have to pay the tuition as an international student or a local student ?

Thank you !

1) Generally - yes. You need to be a permanent resident.
2) Depends on your school. You'll need to speak with them.
