Hi guys,

My grandma lives with my family (mom, dad, sister and grandma) in the same house. Should I add her to my EE application? There's no field to add grandparents to the application, however there's one that I can answer NO: Have you told us about all of xxx family?

Does anybody know? Thanks in advance!

None of these - parents, siblings, grandparents - can be added to the application.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/glossary.asp

"Accompanying family member
A spouse, common-law partner, dependent child or dependent child of a dependent child (grandchild), who plans to immigrate to Canada with the principal applicant. Accompanying family members are included on the application."

The only place you include info on your siblings and parents (not grandparents) is on the "Additional Family Information" form - these individuals are not co-applicants.

Yes, sorry, perhaps I didn't indicate the form correctly. I didn't add them as co-applicants. I'm submitting an application for myself only, no other family member is trying to immigrate. It's the additional family info form. I mean, I could leave her out of it. Just wondering if I should cause they live at the same house.

No, doesn't matter. Only your spouse or children are considered as direct family. There will be a place asks for your parents' info, but there's no area ask for your grandparents info. You can leave your grandparents' info out.

No need to include her on that form.
