Grandparents in India sponsoring 4yr old grandchild

Hello everyone,
I am applying for my study visa soon and plan on adding my dependent son (4yr old) in the same application. My parents (Indians) are sponsoring me, can they sponsor my son as well? (financially)
Is this acceptable? I'm unable to find a clear answer on this. If someone could throw some light on this I would really appreciate it.

Yes, your parents can sponsor the full application. Make sure you can show the additional funds to cover childcare needs in Canada (this is very expensive). Ideally you should show some of your own funds and not only rely on your parents.
