Hi, Does any one know the difference between Graduate Certificate and Bachelor's degree as defined by CIC?

I looked at CIC glossary of terms. This is just my guess:

Bachelors degree; course involving 3 yrs or more of study in a discipline where the student receives an award of 'Bachelors' degree at the end of successfully completing the course requirements. Awarded by a University.

Graduate Certificate; course involving less than or equal to 2 yrs of study in a discipline where the student receives an award of 'Graduate Certificate' degree at the end of successfully completing the course requirements. The student must have completed an Undergraduate course and be a 'Graduate' before undertaking the course. May be awarded by a University or other educational institution.

Wait for others to reply as well.

Relevant difference is that Bachelors degree is post-secondary while Graduate certificate is post-graduate. If an applicant has a Bachelors degree AND graduate certificate, they can choose '2 or more..' option.
