Government has delayed landing interview by a month

Hey everyone,

We finally recieved our inland landing interview that was scheduled for October 3rd in Calgary. My wife was very excited.

Today she just got a phone call from the Calgary office stating that they can't schedule her in now for that date and rescheduled her for November 8th at 230pm. Obviously she is upset about this, especially with less than a week to go.

A month is a LONG gap. Why is that? Is it something we should be worried about?

If all they said was that they can't schedule her, it's unlikely to be anything to do with your application - probably just too many people, and too few slots.

Someone may have gotten ill or left their position. Sure other people are being rescheduled also. In the grand scheme of things one month is not a big deal. She is still getting PR. Look at the news if you need perspective.
