Hi Guys,

Just to let you know, Asad and I had the same problem i.e our visa was issued for 18 months while course of study is 2 years. I spoke the immigration officer at Toronto airport and he issued me study permit for full length of my course. So if any of you faces the same problem, just mention it to the immigration officer at the PoE and surely they will issue you study permit for the full length or your course regardless of visa duration.

Cheers ;-)

Bro you will need a new offer letter from college stating that your proposed course start has been changed to the next semester. It MUST mention your previous course start date as well as new start date so that if a situation arises where you have to explain to the IO why you chose to start the course at a later date you can show the college letter to him. Try finding out from your college/uni about the deadline for your course enrollment n get an extension to be here on time. The more you delay things the more the troubles you're creating for yourself.

Cheers ;-)
