Hi,

1. Actually, it's not a job/duty of DMP "to discuss anything" with the applicant. So, you can avoid it. Only CHC hold authority to direct further/re-medicals.
2. You shall get work permit of 15 months (considering your course duration). And, if you are smart enough, you may like to apply for PGWP after waiting for 2 months (out of mandatory 3 months transition period from course-completion to PGWP application-deadline). So, you actually get 15 + 2 months PGWP.

my course date is may 09 2012 and ends in april 2013
so i got 5 months pgwp

or

Please read carefully what enfield has said...

What you got now is NOT a PGWP. It is a Study Permit. You will apply for your PGWP once you have finished your studies.

Hi,

This is a study permit duration. YOU CANNOT GET PGWP now. You will need to apply for PGWP after completion of your course, later. Most of the students get study permit of course duration+ 90 days extra (3 months), and so is the case with you. Since you have joined a 1 year IB course (2 SEM +1 co-op term) at Centennial, so your total study permit is 12+3= 15 months. After completion of course in 12 months, i.e after receiving final grades and transcripts (not convocation), you will have an extra 3 months (approx) to decide your further course of action. If you secure an OFF campus work permit after 6 months of your course, then till the time you get your PGWP, you can immediately start work/ join a full time job for that period. So, within that 90 days, you may decide to apply for a PGWP or you may again, choose to join another course, by again applying for a study permit. You must make this important decision within this time frame first, and simultaneously you may work full time (if you hold OFF campus work permit). Also within that 90 days, you may spend it searching for an appropriate job, or choose not to work and may be travel or just take a break...it's upto you!

Hi,

1. Actually, it's not your study permit but a multiple entry TRV which allow you to enter/re-enter Canada from 5/4/2012 to 9/7/2013.
2. You will get your study permit at the port of entry, Canada on the submission of your 'Letter of Introduction' + LOA + Passport with TRV.

Hi,

Sorry, no specific idea. Now, it could be;
1. A visa approval,
2. Or, a deferral request,
3. Or, a late-registration request,
4. Or, further medical/tests. It might be strange but so far, I haven't seen any visa refusal based on a medical. It's always a re-medical/test.
