Got student visa: can I fly from another country?

I got my student visa from New Delhi, I am an Indian citizen. At the moment I am in Iran, visiting my family. I am flying out to Canada on 14th September from Iran. I was wondering if it is okay for me to travel from Tehran, Iran even though my visa has been issued at New Delhi.
