got student visa but now i want to travel with my family

hello.

i hava a aproved student visa for a 2 year study program, and in a week i have to travel but i want my family to come with me. at first they were going to come just for a couple of months while i settle in, but now i want them to stay....how can i extend my visa to my family?

Are your family visa exempt passport holders or do they have temporary resident visas ?

we are from chile so i sopose that they are visa exempt... in the family information document IMM5707 i marked the option where its says that they will accompany me.
