Got score lower than stated in Simplified App

Dear friends, I applied to CHC Islamabad on 15th November with simplified application.
i stated my language proficiency as high.
then i took ielts before it is demanded, but i got 6.5 in listening. with is medium.
should i retake ielts or is it ok.

if u r claiming 16 points for language then yes u have to take ielts again.

if u r claiming 16 points for language then yes u have to take ielts again.

what is your points now ? if ielts is the only option to make your points you have to think to sit for the next test.

for 16 points in english language IELTS score should be speaking 6.5 - 9.0 listening 7.5 - 9.0 reading 6.5 - 9.0 writing 6.5 - 9.0. (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf)

i have got 6.5 in all modules. with 14 points in IELTS i easily make more than 67.

have 17 yr education masters in Comp Science.
1 yr exp as programmer and 2 yr experience as EDP manager.
brother in canada.

just overstated my english level in simplified application.

then its ok - need not to worry as long as your points are above 67.

what is your e-status ? ?

That is ok. As long as you have 67 or higher with those 14 points in English proficiency, don't re-do your IELTS. As far as I understand, they don't care as long as it is 67 or higher points.

I applied on 15 Nov 2008 and received AOR on 15 Jan 2009. They told me that they have not received received instructions on how to proceed with my case, as they get they shall let me know.

and i am waiting till now and have taken IELTS in advance.

i can not check status, i think because my application has not opened for processing yet. I think people that applied to islamabad on october and november r still waiting.

at this time am starting to be worried!

No result will come to become worried.

If are not in 38 noc list, your application will possibly refused and fees will be refunded. or if they put special consideration on Feb-Nov 08 applications, there might be a possibility to be processed.

To get a positive result you must be under 38 noc.

i applied in category 0213 Information technology managers

and luckily i was on 38 list.

i have got 3yr BCS, 2yr MCS from university of agriculture faisalabad(17yreducation), 1 yr exp as programmer, 2.5 yr experience as EDP manager
and 14 marks in ielts for(6.5, 7, 6.5, 6.5) and a brother in canada.

but this waiting is killing me.

Technically it should work. Also, CHC didn't change the duties fall under 0213. I applied under same NOC in March 08 and it worked. Mine is New Delhi visa office. What does your ecas say?
