i have to take about 20k+
i read here, that an applicant carry more than 10K

so if i [MAIN APPLICANT]carry 10,000+my wife as my dependent carries 10,000; which means we both carry 20K cash (Can. $), will there be a problem for me at airport??????????
plz. advise

Save yourself some possible trouble. Declare it, there are no taxes and you just complete a form.

You can import as much currency as you want to Canada, as long as you declare amounts over 10K. As said before there are no taxes on it.
 
there is no trouble as long as u declare your cash even if it is millions coz there is no limitations unless below the minimum amount.
