Got my work permit in the mail, do I need to activate?

I am in Quebec, got my LMIA and CAQ all approved and got my Work permit in the mail a few months back.

I don''t think I do but I want to be sure, I have tried to call CIC 4 times buy they are too busy.

So does anyone know if I need to activate my work permit in anyway, even though I got the actual permit by mail?
