Got my visa - landing at niagara

Hello All

Finally I got my canada visa. I am landing at Niagara next week.

1)Can any one please explain what the landing procedure is like and what formalities do I need to comply with. What questions are asked by the border official

2)Since I do not intend to move to canada on an immediate basis do I need to apply for apply for social insurance number and for a health card in this visit?

I would really appreciate a response. Thanks.
