Got my Passports back with temporary Immigrant Visa. next ?

Hi guys,

So i got the Temporary visa in my passport for PR along with the document that needs to be signed at the border my a customs agent. Here are the three options I have:

1) Flag polling - live no where close to a border and is not a viable option
2) Exit and reenter the country via flight. unnecesary expense and family of 3.
3) apply for an appointment for a CIC center in Canada who will process the card and sign the document.

for option 3), how long does the process take and how many days in the future does the date come ?

an appointment is around 3-6 weeks in advance. flagpoll at the border is anytime the border is open. So unless you are 1 day drive away from the border, flagpoll is almost always better. The interview when you are at the border/CIC office is the same, around 15 mins if nothing goes wrong.
