Hi everyone,

I have received an automated mail from immigration office today asking for Medical examination report, RPRF, Police Certificates and Passport/Travel document for FSW NOC 2174.

I would be glad if someone could clarify few of my questions with regards to this mail.

1. Is RPRF an additional fee apart from the 550 CAD for a primary applicant that was paid when the application was sent to CIC?
2. Only demand drafts accepted for RPRF? And to whom this should be payable?
3. Must the Original passport be sent to the immigration office? Approximately, how long it would take for them to give me the passport back?

Thanks in advance..

Thanks,
Pradeep

I'll help with your first question - yes, the RPRF is an additional fee you must pay if you want to be approved.

Hi,
RPRF fee is another pay for PR process.
Fee need to be paid via bank draft in Canadian dollars and draft must be payable to " Receiver General for Canada".
You have to send your original passport to visa office for visa stamping.
Good luck!!!

Thanks a lot for clarifying me.

How long does it normally take for the immigration to stamp and give the passport back? If anyone can throw some light, it would help me plan accordingly to manage without the passport in hand.
