Got ITA under EE but got AOR also last week.Expert advise please.

Hi guys,

I applied for PR under CEC category in Sep'14 & last week only got AOR after waiting period of 4.5 months. In between I applied under Express entry (with the delay that applicants are facing now under old system) & yesterday night I got ITA (invitation under my express entry profile). What would be best option now. I don't want to pay one more time.

You MUST go for express entry. It will get you permanent residency in less than six months. However, you have to tell cic that you also applied cec under old rules, so they only process your express entry application and refund your money.

No refund for sure! Check EE FAQ on CIC website, it's clearly mentioned.

Forget about the refund. You can take the loss of the CEC fee.
