I received an ITA about 10 days back through Express Entry and my CRS score is 470.
In my EE profile I used the code 2171 and that code lists multiple possible Categories within that profession and responsibilities for each.
Now, my work experience is a combination of 2 sub-categories within 2171 - Small part of my daily duties is in line with Business Analyst duties (listed in the NOC 2171 description) and the majority of it is PARTLY in line with Quality Assurance Analyst duties (also listed in the NOC 2171 description).
Now, my dilemma is this - the majority of my duties being Quality Assurance and being more technical in nature, I could potentially use the NOC 2283 but I would have to leave the Business Analyst duties out of my reference letter.
What I plan on doing is to move forward with the 2171 and list both duties in my reference letter and perhaps also mention why I chose 2171 in my LOE to be 100% accurate.
Am I doing the right thing?
