After 94 days and 7 emails today I got response from CIC - ISL that my application is in queu for review by immigration officer and my file number .

Can an applicant email CHC Isb, before getting file number? Or It can be done only after getting the file number.

You can do it either way, but you should include Your name, Date of birth , passport number and other related information..............

Email them and provide you details like passport number, Name , date of birth , courier slip number , university etc etc.....

Thanks billad , I think we will get response from CHC in a few days difference coz we applied in a few days gap I applied on 25th June and u 14 June . When u got ur file number ?

Can an applicant email CHC Isb, before getting file number? Or It can be done only after getting the file number.

An applicant can contact CHC regarding application status after 13 weeks , if write them earlier they will not reply untill 13 weeks is not completed . In their first email they will informe u about ur file number

How can we get the file number?

Write to CHC Islamabad ( islamabad-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca ) mentioning ur details ( Name , D.o.B , Passport number , postal address ) they will reply u about ur application status and file number , after 13 weeks of ur application submission

After getting file number the waiting nearly comes to end , within a few weeks decision is made . Is it true ? Any comments seniors Plz

haven't got file number yet, though I have already requested for it too .
Lets see what happens next.
