Got an ITA but made a mistake in entering work employment dates.

So my current CRS score is 511, and it’ll boost upto 551 in October 2024.

But since I entered the start date for my Canadian employer as Aug 2023 (when it actually should’ve been November 2023), I got an ITA based on today’s CEC draw as my score boosted upto 551 based on the wrong start date.

I was hoping to understand what my options are here, if I should put it all in a letter of explanation or not. Or if I should decline my ITA, and re-enter the pool.

You need to decline ITA. As you said, you only recieved ITA because you entered the wrong start date. Without the wrong start date, your score is 511 which is below the cut off for the draw.

Got it, thank you. So in that case after declining ITA would I have to create a whole new profile and enter the pool?
