Goods to Follow.

I am planning to do my initial landing in first week of November and I will be settling at a later time. I will be moving from US.

I have to replace my TV and couple of other items like laptop and gadgets which are really outdated and needs to be replaced badly. I will be getting a better deals during Thanks giving at the end of November, so I am planning to buy them at that time. Can I include the items that I intend to buy at a later time, should I need to provide any serial numbers of the items in the goods to follow form at this time?

1. No the goods to follow must be owned and used prior to your "landing" to claim them as tax and duty free.

Thank you all for answering. I have few other questions on this.

=> Should I include even the simple things like my daily wear clothing / suits, shoes and etc and itemize them as below example with quantity of each one and their value?
For example :
<brand name> Jeans 10 pairs 100$
<brand name> T-shirt 5 Nos 70$
<brand name> shoes 5 Nos 100$
<brand name> Suits 5 Nos 2000$

=> For any items that I currently have such as electronics, kitchen utensils, beddings, my kids toys and etc including my clothes above. How do I fill up the value for those, should it be at the current market price for the used products or the value that I originally bought for?

=> Are there any maximum allowed value limits for the goods that I could bring?

=> I will be importing both my cars later, do I have to bring a copy of my car title with me while landing / write the VIN number in goods to follow form?

=> For gold Jewellleries and ornaments, where do I get it valued from, is it ok to get it from the same jewel merchant?
