Quick question, the status for interview on my account says I don't need to have an interview. It has always been this way and I just want to know if this is good or bad or means nothing at all.

It doesn't mean anything. Everyone's says that. It will only change if they decide to call you in for a relationship interview, which could happen at any point during the process.

Is it normal for everyone to have an interview? Should I be expecting this to change and I will have to go in for an interview?

It depends what country you are from and what your situation is. Straight forward cases and/or principal applicants from first world countries are rarely called for an interview. It's much more common to be called in for an interview if your application has red flags or if the PA is from a third world country/has a lot to gain by coming to Canada.

As an American, you have pretty much no chance of being called for an interview unless you have some major red flags that you haven't mentioned,
