I just run into this article from CIC http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2012/ob485.asp
This is a good news for those foreign workers that are working in Canada while waiting for their PR application to be approved. CIC should had thought about this long time ago rather than letting just those spouses of PR applicants and sponsored spouses only to have OPEN WP. Anyway at least they came up and realized it now. Please read OPEN WORK PERMIT for PR applicants currently working in Canada under FSWP, CEC, Live-In Caregivers and PNP(some restrictions applied) with PER and 4 months before current WP expires.....at least something to look forward to while long waiting period for PR!!!
