Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
HI everyone,

I am September applicant and I got my GCMS notes today. Looks like I will be rejected (though my file's status says 'review required') as they are not counting my Research Assistant work as my part of my work experience.

I am looking for a good lawyer who can help me with my file in London (Ontario) or anywhere in Toronto/Hamilton/Kitchener/Windsor.
Any suggestions seniors??
Anyone with good experiences?

Please help!!!!

Thanks,
Pari

I work with Donna Habsha at Bomza law group - St Clair and yonge
I highly recommend them
Good luck!

I highly recommed Greenberg Turner in Toronto..They are pro's in Immigration Law and recently merged with KPMG law firm. The organization that I work deals with them and we have 99% success rate (in processing Permanent Residency, LMO, ICT)

Not to make you nervous, but here's my issue with lawyers: CIC says that the requirements are pass/fail. I fear if they are reluctant to consider your experience as applicable now, they probably wouldn't do so again, even if you file with a lawyer. What would a lawyer do in this case??

Thanks everyone for suggestions!

Well thats why I need a lawyer! Given that they are applying new rules (of January 2013) to my file submitted in Sept 2012 is wrong, I totally need a lawyer to remind the VOs politely that you cannot switch regulations just like that. They have to follow the regulations that existed in 2012.

Also, my file is not yet rejected, its been passed onto another officer for review! Given that if another officer is nice and follows old rules that existed in 2012 he will consider RA hours!

A lot people here have got PR based on RA hours who applied before Aug 2012!

JSM, Madinxs, lpc,

Guys, thanks for responding back with these law firms & lawyer names. Would be grateful if you could share your experience with lawyers in these firms. Cuz the last thing pari would want to do is just walk in any law firm and sign a retainer with one of the newer grads. So if you guys have any personal recommendation - highly grateful if you could share that, either here on the thread or through personal message.

Cheers guys.
