Please I need assistance on this, I got ITA recently but I have problem with my age on the profile. The age on my WES ECA is 1980, but my correct age on my passport is 1981. Please what do I do to correct this descripancy. Affidavit or LOE?

Please I need assistance on this, I got ITA recently but I have problem with my age on the profile. The age on my WES ECA is 1980, but my correct age on my passport is 1981. Please what do I do to correct this descripancy. Affidavit or LOE? I actually got a nomination from a province.

How did the mistake happen. Did you mistype your DOB when creating your WES profile?
I'm asking because if it's indeed a typo, it would be safe to redo your ECA, as a DOB is an important piece of info for identification.
But that's just my opinion. Waiting for what more seniors have to say..
It's on my Diploma and BSc degree, but corrected on my MBA result. I think WES got it from those institutions. WES cannot correct it except the institutions do and a new document is now sent to wes
New ECA will give u the same result as the institutions already have 80 on their records. Only the Master that was done in 2008 is having the correct DOB of 81.

Do not go with re-ECA.
File an affidavit for DOB and submit that in your PR application. Do mention this thing in detailed LOE.
