Going to home land during sponsorship of son

Hi every body,

I know that if you are out of Canada during the sponsorship application, your application will be rejected.
If I go for two months to back home and then come back to Canada, will it still effect the application of sponsorship?

any advise will be highly appreciated.

If they try to contact you and find that you are not in Canada, they may deny your application. You would be able to appeal but it will take longer.

Maybe you should call immigration and ask them if this is a problem as long as you can prove that you have a job in Canada now and have a letter from your employer stating that you are on a leave of absence and will return in 2 months.
