Go Vacation while the application is being processed

I would like to ask everyone who have the same or similar situation like mine.

If I am planning to go vacation for 3 weeks while my application for Permanent Residence is being processed, Can I still go back to Canada?

I still have work permit valid till next year, and I heard that I need to stay here while the application will being processed.

Is this true?

Yes, you can leave for vacation while your application is in process. Make sure that you have a valid visa
to re-enter Canada if you're not from a visa exempt country.
