Did anyone happen to read the following article in the Globe & Mail on July 1st?
"Nova Scotia drops immigration fee in bid for skilled labour" The summary I read of this article stated that the intent is to "help address a labour shortage in the province." It also indicated that the $5,000 fee was being eliminated for potential immigrants applying under the skilled-worker category. No other details were included in the brief summary I read.
We do not have a subscription to Globe & Mail ($14.00/month), and this was one of the 20 percent of their articles which can only be read by subscribers.
If any of you happened to have read this article, or perhaps an article in another source on the same topic, could you comment upon it, please?
Thanks for your assistance!
