Please help me. Can my parents make a gift deed in cash? In addition, can I be asked to show a bank statement of my father for 6 months. (I have some issue with it, as he keeps money in a piggy bank).

If your dad has a bank account, first deposit all the cash into his account and get a cheque from him as gift. Also get a gift deed made. You don't need to show father's bank statement.
