Hello,

I have two queries:

1. I want to inquire if my maternal uncle (mother's brother) can gift me the money? My father is no more, and I am the only person earning for my family.

2. Will the immigration officer check the 6-month account statement of the donor as well?

Please reply so that the headache can be eased off.

Thank you! :)

your uncle is not required to give bank statement. He just needs to give a letter saying he is giving you the money for your Immigration and you are not liable to return, as it is given as a gift.
