Re: Gic waiting period
The normal turnaround is 2 weeks. You can even get in as little as 6 days. As mentioned previously, I got my certificate in 13 days

Hey Pls Need help urgently/
I have deposited 10220$ for GIC. But the intermediate bank taken the charge of 25$. So will GIC accept my Credit or they will decline?
I am very much tensed.And can't call as weekend is going on.
Time is also very short so can not wait for another transfer.
GIC received 10,195$.
What should i do?

No need to worry, they still process ur request and provide you GIC certificate after 10-15 days.setumehta said:

Same thing happened with me, they deducted 30 dollars out of 10200.On contacting scotia bank, they said gic certificate is issued as long as they receive 10000 minimum. So dont worry they will provide u gic certificate.
