GIC Refunded

I paid GIC one week ago but now they refunded back my GIC amount by scotia bank.What are the reasons to refund money back ? I didn't got acknowledgment for this refund to my email...

Possile Reasons


1.Money was not transfereed from youraccount /your joint account with parents .

2. Conversion of money was not equal to 10100 CAD dollars .

3 .You can also check the Source from where money was sent .

Write email to scotiabank to get the exact reason.

Money transferred from Agent account to GIC acc

2. Conversion of money was not equal to 10100 CAD dollars .
No idea regarding this.

3 .You can also check the Source from where money was sent .
As i mentioned earlier Agent transfered money when my dad transfered his money to his acc from SBI bank.

Write email to scotiabank to get the exact reason.

I had done that through my scotia acc but how many days it will take to get reply back

What are the probable financial documents I can show for CIC other than wire transfer?

If wire transfer is mandatory please let me know it or else just point-out the documents which will be good for filing visa

I have IT-returns and Agriculture Income having worth 10,xxxxx income per year and I have Bank statements for past 12 months and above having a 25,xxxxx transaction(including tution fee+GIC ) and then i have paid tuition fee for college.

I should send money from my account only not from others account or from my parents account ? is it true? They won't accept such transfer ?

Hi,

As mentioned on Scotiabank website, wire transfer should be done from student account/joint account of student with parents .

Just go tomthe bank in which you hold account and give them wire transfer details .
