GIC Funds requirements for 2 years program

Hi , i am applying for a 2 year postgraduate course in canada. my questions are for SDS
1- Do i need to invest GIC for full 2 years or only CAD10200 for 1st year ?
2 -Do i need to show the course's remaining second year fee or not ?

i mean to say if my fee is 35K and 20K GIC what amount to be shown in the file for both fee and GIC?

1. pay the first-year tuition fee
2. GIC $10,200 to cover first-year living expenses
3. Optional but very important - bank statement of 4 months maintained balance, an affidavit from your sponsor (Father, Mother, Brother, Sister) direct blood relation.

That will be enough.
