Will calling them and asking for my status of the application will Give my application more priority than others or its just they will let me know the date I will get it. Thanks for your reply though
 
It is taking 7 days to get certificate. I paid on 11th November.

Yes .. I transferred on 3nd and got GIC on 12th nov

Both, it will let them have an idea that they are taking more time then usual and people are waiting for their replies.
