I have applied to scotia bank for GIC account for student visa.can any one tell me how much time does it take to open the account? its been a week since i applied

To open an account it took 1 working day for me. I got mail from them stating that my account is opened the next day. Dont know about the money transfer coz haven't done yet. When r u planning and where ???

when did you applied??? i applied yesterday and need this account on urgently bec my ielts is expiring on 24th feb... i have to apply for visa before 20th...

i applied on 22 jan and account opened on 23 jan ...
