Hello,

Even if my Canadian income for the years 2012-2014 fulfill the income requirement, I think I will need my 2014 T4 to apply which I feel might take until mid-February ; judging by how quickly the cap ran out last year, I am not sure if that's going to let me make the cap this year. Is there a way out? I would be incredibly grateful for any insights you share.

I can't find it, but I seem to recall a bit of debate on this point. The point being that the 3-year income requirement is 1 year behind, NOT up to the most recent calendar year completed. "Screech###" was involved in the debate.

Anyway, if you request an Option C before you file your taxes they will send you the most recent one available . . . from the previous year.

Thanks a lot truesmile ! I will look around for the skip the immediate past year - it doesn't make sense to me but i have heard that too from my family. I wonder if it's a way of eliminating applicants.

Also it seems like if 2014 was permissible, option C could have been an option to keep up the speed of submission since it takes only 2 weeks?
