Getting Quick PR in MANITOBA through MPNP

Hello FrnZZ,

I have Completed M.tech in VLSI System Design (June-2014) & BE in Electronics & Communication. I am planning to go in January Intake to Winnipeg,MB Red River collage for I&C Technology (2-yrs) program. After completion of studies working for 6 months Full time, will i be able to apply for PR?

Can any one give me their valuable suggestion on my plans?

what are the Pros & Cons in this ?

How much successful will it be if i do so?

Manitoba has been flooded with PNP applications, the time period has increased and it is highly likely that PNP rules might get changed. I would suggest that you apply to Saskatchewan, Alberta or British Columbia.

Saskatchewan is the fastest now, and it has the following terms and conditions:


You may qualify to apply if:
1. You have graduated with a certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary educational institution in Saskatchewan. The program must have been equivalent to at least one academic year (eight months) of full-time study.
2. You must have worked for at least six months (with minimum 960 hours) of paid employment in Saskatchewan.
*Eligible types of work experience in Saskatchewan include on- campus, off-campus, co-op terms, graduate fellowships that can be verified by your institution, and work experience gained on a post-graduate work permit.
3. You have applied for and received a valid post-graduation work permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
4. You have a current, permanent, full-time job offer in your field of study from a Saskatchewan employer in an occupation in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) Matrix level “A”, “B”, “0”; or in a designated trade (Please note: Food and Beverage Servers/Persons must apply under the Hospitality Sector Pilot Project sub-category); or a job offer that is related to your field of study and requires post-secondary education.
5. You have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.

So, you see literally, if you take up a one year program, you'll be eligible to file the PR as soon as you complete your studies. Here, is the calculation for the number of hours
8 months of studies in one year, you work 20 hours per week: 640 hours
4 months full time in vacations: 640 hours
Total hours: 1280

And, you just require 960 hours.

There's a cap of 400 applications a year and since Saskatchewan is not so popular, the chances of visas are high. Apply for a SPP college, either SIAST or Parkland College.

SIAST is tough to get into and Parkland is easy admission. Based in Yorkton, you will find the jobs easily.
